Today we held the Welcome Ceremony for Humboldt-Schule students.
The ceremony began with a greeting from HIS principal Mr. Matsumoto, after which there was a greeting from Ms. Kathrin Bonn, the teacher accompanying the students, and then the students introduced themselves one by one in Japanese. Finally, there were performances from HIS students. The Koto club performed 2 pieces, and the whole school sang the school song.
Today marks the start of their HIS life for Humboldt-Schule students. Through classes that they can’t experience in Germany, we hope that they will come to appreciate Japanese culture more.
